The balding is a loose ring running Gag which uses the larger 90mm rings. The loose ring aids the flexible effect of the gag and keeps the horse from fixing in the jaw and leaning on the bit. The gag effect raises and flexes the poll to the extent the bit can move up the leather or rope cheek. Waterford mouthpiece keeps strong horses from bearing down and pulling.
Available from 5 1/4"-6 1/4" in a 14mm mouthpiece.
